Does NoRestNest work offline?
Yes. Every workout, set, food entry and measurement is written to your device first. Cloud sync, the smart program builder, food-photo recognition and food search need a connection — everything else runs offline.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free covers everything you need to log a workout: per-set tracking, progression suggestions, body explorer, nutrition log, progress charts. Pro adds:
- Smart program builder
- Cloud sync across multiple devices
- Unlimited program history and exports
How do I cancel my subscription?
Android (Google Play): Open Google Play → Profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → NoRestNest → Cancel.
iOS (App Store): Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → NoRestNest → Cancel.
You keep Pro until the end of the current billing period. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds go through Google Play or the Apple App Store directly — NoRestNest doesn't process them. There's typically a 48-hour window after purchase. See the Refund Policy for the exact steps.
How do I delete my account and data?
- Open the app and go to Profile → Account actions → Delete Account.
- Your account is marked for deletion. Other devices are signed out automatically.
- On Android, your Google Play subscription is auto-cancelled. On iOS, the app opens Settings so you can cancel the subscription manually.
- A 30-day grace period starts. You can cancel deletion from the recovery page during this window.
- Or choose Delete now to skip the grace period and remove everything immediately.
- After deletion: every cloud document, every cloud file, your RevenueCat customer record and any referral codes that listed you as inviter are removed.
Can't reach the in-app flow? Email privacy@norestnest.com from the address on your account and we'll process it manually.
I didn't get my verification email. What now?
- Check spam. Verification mail comes from
noreply@norestnest.com. - Wait 1–2 minutes — mail through our EU server is usually instant but can occasionally queue.
- In the app, tap Resend to fire a fresh link. Links expire after 3 days.
- Still stuck? Email contact@norestnest.com with the address you registered with.
I tapped the verification link on my phone but the app didn't open.
Make sure the NoRestNest app is installed on the device where you opened the link. If the app is installed and the link still opens this website instead, fully close NoRestNest (swipe away) and tap the link again — Android sometimes caches the default handler. As a last resort, re-tap Resend in the app to get a fresh link.
How does the smart program builder use my data?
When you generate a program, only the inputs you provide for that request (goal, equipment, days per week, free-text answers) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Your full account, photos, sync content and history are never sent. Anthropic's commercial terms exclude API inputs and outputs from model training by default.
Where does my synced data live?
Synced workout, nutrition and progress data is stored on Google Firebase servers in the United States (Iowa region) under EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Verification and password-reset email pass through our own EU mail server. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Email privacy@norestnest.com from the address on your account and we'll send a machine-readable export of your workouts, nutrition logs, body measurements and progress photos within one month (GDPR Art. 20).
What permissions does the app need?
- Camera — barcode scanning, label scanning, meal/progress photos. Optional.
- Photo library — pick existing meal/progress photos. Optional.
- Internet — cloud sync, authentication, in-app purchases.
We never ask for location, microphone, contacts, calendar or background camera access.
