Refund Policy for NoRestNest

This page explains exactly how refunds work for NoRestNest subscriptions and one-time purchases. The short version is below — the long version follows underneath.
TL;DR
- NoRestNest does not issue refunds. All payments go through Google Play or the Apple App Store, and refunds (if any) are at the store's discretion — not ours.
- Free trial: cancel anytime, never charged.
- Monthly / Yearly subscriptions: no refund for the current billing period. Cancel to stop the next charge — Pro stays active until the period ends.
- Lifetime: no refund, except where mandatory consumer law (e.g. EU 14-day cooling-off, if not waived at checkout) requires one.
- You can always ask Google or Apple directly; they may grant goodwill refunds outside this policy at their sole discretion.

Subscription pricing reflects this policy: by charging only $4.99 / month or $2.50 / month-equivalent on the yearly plan, with a 60-day free trial and the ability to cancel anytime, we do not offer additional refunds on top.
2. How to Request a Refund
For Android (Google Play Store)
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device
- Tap your profile icon in the top right
- Go to Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Select NoRestNest
- Tap Request a Refund
- Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your request
Alternatively, you can:
- Visit Google Play Subscriptions on the web
- Contact Google Play Support directly for assistance
For iOS (Apple App Store)
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your NoRestNest purchase
- Click Report a Problem
- Select Request a Refund and follow the prompts
Alternatively:
- Open the App Store app
- Tap your profile icon
- Go to Purchased → Find NoRestNest
- Tap Report a Problem
3. Refund Processing Time
- Google Play: Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days after approval
- Apple App Store: Refunds are typically processed within 48 hours to 5 business days after approval
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Bank processing times may add an additional 1-3 business days
4. Canceling Your Subscription (No Refund Needed)
If you want to cancel your subscription to avoid future charges but do not need a refund for the current period:
Google Play (Android)
- Open Google Play Store
- Go to Subscriptions
- Select NoRestNest
- Tap Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
Apple App Store (iOS)
- Open Settings on your device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select NoRestNest
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Note: When you cancel a subscription, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.
5. What Happens After a Refund
- Your subscription will be immediately canceled
- Access to Pro features (cloud sync, unlimited programs, advanced analytics) will be revoked
- Your workout data and progress photos will remain accessible in the free tier (local device only)
- Cloud-synced data will no longer sync across devices without an active Pro subscription
6. What we do not refund
To be clear, NoRestNest does not refund:
- Any monthly or yearly subscription charge, once the period has started — cancel to stop future renewals; access remains until the current period ends.
- Auto-renewals that were not cancelled before the renewal date.
- Pro-rated portions of an unused subscription period.
- The Lifetime purchase, except where mandatory EU 14-day cooling-off rights apply and were not validly waived at checkout.
- Charges where the account has been terminated for violation of the Terms of Service.
Important: Google Play and Apple have the final authority on any refund decision they choose to make. They can grant a refund at their discretion even when our policy doesn't — and NoRestNest does not override that decision.
7. Special Circumstances
If you believe you qualify for a refund but your request was denied by Google Play or Apple, or if you have a unique situation, please contact us:
- Email: contact@norestnest.com
- Subject: "Refund Request - [Your Order ID]"
- Include: Purchase receipt, order ID, reason for refund request
While we cannot override app store decisions, we will do our best to assist you and provide guidance.
8. Free Trial Policy
- NoRestNest offers a 60-day free trial to all new users
- No credit card required to start the trial
- You can cancel anytime during the trial at no cost
- After 60 days, you must purchase a Pro subscription to continue using Pro features
- The free trial is available once per user/device
9. Billing Disputes
If you notice unexpected charges or billing issues:
- Check your Google Play or App Store purchase history to confirm the charge
- Verify that auto-renewal wasn't enabled on your subscription
- Contact Google Play Support or Apple Support directly
- If the issue persists, email us at contact@norestnest.com with your order details
10. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app store policies or our services. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Posting the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date
- Sending an in-app notification or email
